Collaborate With Your Team & Vendors

Enhance collaboration with your real estate team and vendors through Picket’s platform

Teammates

Teammates are users within your account or organization. By default, they have full shared access to all aspects of the product. For businesses, you can add as many teammates as needed, such as:

  • Analysts
  • Portfolio managers
  • Back office staff

For individuals, teammates might include:

  • A spouse
  • An investment partner
  • Anyone else with whom you want a close working relationship and full shared access.

Navigate to account settings to add/remove and manage team members.

Collaborators

Collaborators, unlike teammates, already have their own Picket account. They only have access to the specific items you choose to share, such as a property you’re evaluating as a potential investment.

Examples of collaborators include:

  • An agent you’re working with to make offers or sell a property
  • A Picket Pro helping you analyze a rehab scope
  • A property manager overseeing your rental property

For admins, you can control what other organizations you team is allowed to collaborate with from your organization settings. Individual team members can add, remove, and manage collaborators from any specific property detail page as well as access properties that you are collaborating on (meaning another organization added you as a collaborator).

How to Decide?

  • For businesses: If someone works at your company, add them as a teammate rather than a collaborator.
  • For individuals: If you’re unsure, start by working with someone as a collaborator. If you later want a deeper integration, you can consolidate into one account as teammates.
